Desperation

OK, so boxing up my stash was a really dumb move. We are so organised I actually have time to stitch, and I was getting cranky having nothing to work on.

So last night I ripped into a box or two looking for something to stitch. It was getting a bit difficult as there are rather a lot of boxes marked 'craft room'. LOL.

Eventually I was able to lay my hands on this cute kit 'There's no such thing as too much chocolate'. It comes with a cute mounting with mice foot prints on it.



I guess I'll need to go retape those boxes up now!

Quaker RR Finish

Thanks for all your comments on Their Song and wishing us well for our house move.

As promised, here is a photo of my piece on Valerie's RR. I stitched the three motifs in the bottom left-hand corner. I loved Valerie's fabric and thread choice, they were great to work with. (Some of you may notice that I accidentally stitched my old initials before I caught myself on!)



I'm not sure what I'll pick up next, it depends what I can lay my hands on - all my stash is boxed up ready for the move.

A finish

Since I last posted two weeks ago, I finished 'Their Song' by Blackbird Designs. I love it.



I have been working on Valerie's QFRR and I am about half way through it. I love her fabric and threads, they are so nice to work with. I will share a photo soon. I won't be sad to see this RR finish, because of the troubles with this RR I feel like I have been stitching this chart forever (and the quality of the chart is very shoddy which does not help!).

We move house next Friday, so there may be another gap in my posts.

My sister's baby might be making an early arrival too - she's not due until 17 April, but baby has headed for the exit and things have started moving. Apparently BIL can't sleep he's so excited. LOL. I hope to share a photo or two when he/she arrives.

I'm hoping to get Their Song finished this weekend. This seems to be a favourite design amongst stitchers. I love the colours in it and the verse.
